PE pipe plays an increasingly important role in daily life and engineering construction, and has become one of the world's most widely used plastic products. The properties of PE pipe determine its wide range use. It usually used as agricultural water supply and drainage pipe, building water supply and drainage pipe and gas transmission pipe. PE pipe production technology is also increasingly innovative, in the PE pipe production process may still appear some problems, the following are some of the possible problems and solutions.

Problem 1: Pipe inner wall is rough

Solution:

 Check if the core mould temperature is too low or high, and make adjustment accordingly.

 Check the mould gap, if the mould gap is too big, you need to replace the mould.

 Check whether the raw material is wet, if the raw material is wet, you need to do drying treatment.

Problem 2: Shaking rings or ripples appear inside the pipeline

Solution:

 Check whether the vacuum calibrator or extruder is shaking, if the extruder die head is shaking, add a mould support to fix the mould. If the vacuum calibrator is shaking, replace the vacuum pump or water pump, or adjust the force position of the equipment to ensure even force distribution.

 Adjust the water out of the calibrator to make the water out evenly, unstable water pressure is easy to cause shaking rings or ripples inside the pipe.

 Adjust the cutter moving air pressure

 Adjust the distance between the calibrator and the bush to reduce the impact of equipment vibration on the tube.

Problem 3: The pipe is not round enough, oval in shape

Solution

 Adjust the angle of the nozzles in the vacuum calibration tank and spraying tank to make the pipe cool evenly.

 Check the water level as well as water pressure in the vacuum calibration tank and spraying tank, make sure the spray volume is large and powerful.

 Check the water temperature of the spraying tank, if the temperature is higher than 35℃, need to reduce the water temperature.

 Check and correct the roundness of the inner hole of the calibrator

 Lengthen the length of vacuum calibration tank
